Physician participation in all aspects of the practice is highly encouraged, if not in governance, then on committees, taking on special projects, and facility collaboration. Associates share all the privileges of the organization as the Shareholders, except the right to vote at Shareholder Meetings. All Associates are continuously on track to become shareholders of the corporation after two years (with the purchase of stock that is refunded 100% upon departure from the organization).
